This story is a different version than the one we are used to hearing of the story The Beanstalk, and therefore, a different purpose.Guiainfantil.com brings us a story for children that teaches how far a child's curiosity can go: The Magic Beans, which on this occasion has a version aimed at children who wet themselves and the bed. Stories can help children solve some problems or difficulties.

Pedrito and his mother were very poor. One day his mother told him:

- Pedrito, we have to sell the cow because we need the money. Tomorrow go to the town to see if someone can buy it for us.

The next day, Pedrito got up very early and took the cow. Already in town, a merchant told him:

- If you sell me that cow, I'll give you these magic beans and with them you can do whatever you want.

Pedrito thought they would be very useful for him to stop peeing in bed, a problem that had plagued him for a long time and for which he could not find a solution. So he sold the cow to the merchant and came home so happy.

Seeing that the boy had sold the cow for a handful of beans, his mother was so upset that she threw the beans for the upper hand.

Pedrito, very sad, thought he had done something wrong.

The next day, he saw that there was a huge plant in the place where his mother had thrown the beans.

Since he was a very curious boy, he climbed the plant to see what was on top. Climbing and climbing, he came to a country full of riches and treasures, which was guarded by an evil ogre.

In an oversight of the ogre, Pedrito caught him a hen that laid golden eggs and a chest full of coins.

Pedrito understood that with effort, he could achieve what he proposed, and that night he did not pee.

Thanks to the hen and the chest, Pedrito and his mother were no longer so poor, and his mother was very happy for Pedrito not to wet the bed any more.

One day the plant dried up and Pedrito couldn't climb any further; he thought he would wet the bed again, but that never happened again. His efforts had paid off.
