We keep thinking about how to sweeten a party as mysterious as Halloween. Trick or Treating? What do you choose?
We suggest you make a deal. If you continue reading, we provide you with the recipe for some classic, simple cookies, with caramel flavor and a terrifying touch for its bat shape. Perfect for breakfast on these dates, for the children to take them to school, for a snack and even as gifts.
Ingredients:
- 125 g of butter
- 125 grams of sugar
- 1 egg
- 250 gr of cake flour
- 1 tablespoon of caramel paste
- 1 black fondant bar
If you have been encouraged to make these delicious and original cookies for your children's Halloween party, take note and make this recipe with your little ones:
1- We take a container, beat the butter (which must be at room temperature) with the sugar. When these two ingredients have been integrated, we add the egg and the caramel paste. We whisk and then sift the flour over the mixture. We stir with a few rods, and when we notice that the dough begins to thicken, we begin to knead with our hands to form a ball. We stretch the ball between two baking papers. We place the stretched dough on a tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2. We preheat the oven to 180º. We remove the dough from the cold, cut the cookies (we have chosen a square cutter) and carefully transfer them to the baking tray. (On baking paper).
3. Bake for 15 minutes and let them cool on a rack.
4. Knead, stretch the fondant, and cut it with the help of a bat-shaped cutter. We reserve the bats.
5. Melt a little butter, and with the help of a brush, stick the bats on the cookies, cutting out what is sticking out. Sprinkle some icing sugar and… they are ready to distribute!
Happy Halloween!
